Home Protect description
Home Protect is a rogue anti-spyware program pretending to be a legitimate computer protection tool. It spreads via trojan horses which comes to the system through its vulnerabilities. Malware downloads and installs itself automatically without user’s knowledge and consent. Home Protect is one of the parasites that also have its alias, such as AntiCare and AV-Clean.
Once active it will display false system security warnings and then will prompt you to buy a “full” version of this program to remove threats that don’t even exist. Malicious program also shows fabricated scan results that usually state about computer infections. It floods your desktop with various fake warning messages that seems to be very annoying and fraudulent.
Do not believe any information this malware shows because all information is fictitious. Home Protect gains to trick user into thinking their system is severely compromised and must be healed with its “licensed” version. Ignore all exaggerated security alerts but use a decent anti-spyware application and terminate Home Protect indefinitely.
