VideoCop

August 26th, 2010

VideoCop is a rogue anti-spyware program used for cybercrime by malicious hackers. Once VideoCop is inside a machine it will simulate a system scan that will produce false positives and convince the user that their machine has been severely compromised.

It will load numerous pop-ups that state about computer’s infections and will prompt you to buy its “full” version. Do not fall for this blatant scam because purchasing it mean you’ll get more viruses onto your PC and less money in your pocket. It is not worth spending your money for this bogus system. Avoid buying anything connected with this dubious application but choose decent anti-spyware toll and terminate VideoCop upon detection.
