Windows Defence

September 6th, 2010

Windows Defence is the latest fake anti-spyware application which is also a clone of Security Shield and Security Guard malicious programs. With the aid of trojan, spam emails and various websites it tends to be affiliated one can easily fall victim to this dubious application.

Once installed it will display false system security warnings and then will prompt you to buy a “full” version of this program to remove threats that don’t even exist. Malware neither has the ability to detect nor remove threats therefore it is not being trusted. Not only is Windows Defence incapable to detecting or removing malware, it can harm your system by editing registry entries. The parasite may redirect your browser to misleading web pages that sell the program. Avoid purchasing anything it offers but choose decent anti-spyware and get rid of Windows Defence indefinitely.
