Windows PRO Scanner

February 27th, 2012

Windows PRO Scanner is a rogue anti-spyware program. It usually spreads via trojan horse which enters the system and creates a perfect background for malware to come in. Windows PRO Scanner is only an imitation of a security program and is not able to provide any actual computer security service.

The parasite is distributed online and often difficult to avoid if one does not employ a reputable security software. Once installed it will display false system security warnings and the will prompt you to buy a full version of this program to remove threats that even don’t exist. For example:

Software without a digital signature detected.
Your system files are at risk. We strongly advise you to activate your protection.

Attempt to run a potentially dangerous script detected.
Full system is highly recommended.

Warning! Virus Detected
Threat detected: FTP Server

Infected file: C:\Windows\System32\dllcache\wmploc.dll

Malware neither has an ability to detect nor remove computer threats therefore it is not be trusted. This is a fraud and you should ignore the warnings. Choose decent malware remover and terminate Windows PRO Scanner upon detection.
